Charlotte Posner is a British contemporary artist best known for her vivacious, vibrant and hand-painted Pop Dolls. Charlotte is a new breed of artistic talent, driven by a passionate need to create a 360 approach to artistic expression; she has taken her beautiful artwork and translated it across her gift collection and homeware.  Each item in the collections is a little piece of Posner art.

Signature Style

Charlotte's work is highly collectable with an international following and requests for commissioned works by private collectors and corporates. Art shows are held twice a year to showcase her latest pieces. Charlotte believes artwork should be accessible, so releases a series of limited edition signed prints of 50-100 for Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter.

Inspired by people, places and popular culture from all over the world, Charlotte’s signature art style is distinguishable by its expression of shape and form and brimming with colour and confidence. Although working in a variety of media, it is traditional dip-pen and ink with acrylic and watercolour that she has become most noted for.

Her latest series, The Purple Lagoon Hotel, explores a fictional luxury destination, a world of lavishness and fantasy combined with tangible reality. A particular piece, The Lemon Room, illustrates the dreamy quality through its interpretation of a refreshing lemon tree aroma and the captivating view from the balcony overlooking an ocean vista.

Charlotte has an art studio in East London where she undertakes personal commissions in all mediums.

Where it began

Her style and popularity exploded onto the public scene in 2014 when she received her first Royal Academy placement as part of the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and was profiled on BBC TV Culture Show. A Social media frenzy then erupted when she first introduced her ‘Pop Dolls’ series to the public in 2015. Coca-Cola, Walls, Kellogg's, Nails INC and Disney all complimented the works and one piece later became the creative for the Magnum UK social media platforms.

In 2018, Charlotte joined forces with entrepreneur, Lady Jeanne Davies, to create  company Posdav Limited for the launch of the gift collection with retail giant, Brown Thomas, Dublin. She now sells her artwork and products internationally and in prestigious retailers including Fortnum & Mason.

Brand Collaborations

Charlotte has collaborated with some of the world’s leading luxury brands including Louis Vuitton, Nicholas Kirkwood, Nivea and La Mer. In April 2023 her designs will be exhibited at Kensington Palace, as part of a collaboration with Historical Royal Palaces.
